<p>A front panel for a plasma display panel and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to reduce a driving voltage and to improve discharge efficiency by emitting electrons from a protective layer. A front panel for a plasma display panel includes a transparent substrate, a sustain electrode, a dielectric layer(20), and a protective layer(70). The front panel is characterized in that the protective layer includes at least one single layer carbon nano tube having at least a part protruded from a surface. The protective layer is formed of an MgO layer. The single layer carbon nano tube corresponds to 2 to 5 percent with respect to total volume of the protective layer. The single layer carbon nano tube is manufactured at temperature of 800 to 900 degrees centigrade.</p> |
