<p>A device and a method for switching a touch screen mode in a convertible tablet PC are provided to switch turn-on/off of the touch screen mode by linking with input of a tablet mode button inputted when a keyboard is folded. A controller(31) generates a turn-on control signal for turning on the touch screen mode when the tablet mode button is pushed. An LCD(Liquid Crystal Display) operator(32) operates an LCD(33) in the touch screen mode by receiving the turn-on control signal. A power supply unit(34) supplies operation power of touch screen mode to the monitor operator by receiving the turn-on control signal. The control signal generates a turn-off control signal for turning off the touch screen mode when the touch screen mode switch key is received after the turn-on control signal is generated. The monitor operator releases the operated touch screen mode by receiving the turn-off control signal.</p> |
