A method for manufacturing yellow earth block comprising yellow earth, elvan and unslaked lime is provided to prevent generation of toxic substances such as toxic gases emitted from cement floor material, thereby providing sound housing environment. A method including the steps of: kneading yellow earth (S1); molding the kneaded yellow earth in a rectangular shape(S2); drying the mold at 20 to 25 deg.C for 3 to 5 hours (S3); and baking the dried mold at 700 to 1100 deg.C for 6 to 12 hours. The method further comprises adding at least one selected from charcoal, jade, elvan and unslaked lime. Based on 100 weight parts of yellow earth, the charcoal is 15 to 25 weight parts, jade is 5 to 10 weight parts, elvan is 10 to 15 weight parts and unslaked lime is 15 to 20 weight parts.
