An optical fiber connecting device is provided to simply couple optical cores through a guide structure and to connect or separate optical fibers by a pressing release structure. An optical fiber connecting device is composed of a housing(10) comprising a pair of wall bodies(12) separated from each other at a predetermined gap and a bottom plate connecting the lower ends of the wall bodies; a lower cover(20) disposed on the upside of the bottom plate and provided with an optical core guide unit(22) and an optical core aligning unit(24) arranged at both sides of the upper surface; an upper cover(30) covering the upside of the lower cover and having an optical core guide unit(32) disposed at the bottom; and a press lever(40) disposed at the upper part of the upper cover, wherein one end of the press lever is hinge-connected to the wall bodies and the other end is detachably combined to the wall bodies to press or release the upside of the upper cover through a press pin(42). The bottom plate of the housing is disposed in the center of the lower end of the wall body. Coating press units(50) are formed at both ends of the wall body to press and fix a coating of an optical core.
