A scan driving apparatus and method of a plasma display panel are provided to reduce EMI(Electro Magnetic Interference) in a driver by supplying a scan pulse voltage using a sustain pulse voltage. A scan driving apparatus of a plasma display panel includes a scan pulse voltage generator which includes a capacitor(C57), a diode(D57), a resistor(R57), and a variable voltage regulator(U57). The scan pulse voltage generator receives a sustain pulse voltage through one terminal of the capacitor during a sustain discharge period and outputs a scan pulse voltage to be supplied to a panel through the other terminal of the capacitor during reset and address periods. The one terminal of the capacitor is connected to a sustain pulse supply path and the other terminal is connected to an anode of the diode. One terminal of the resistor is connected to a cathode of the diode and the other terminal is grounded through the variable voltage regulator.
