A display panel and a display device including the same are provided to prevent cracks from being generated against external vibration or physical impact by forming a lower substrate with a rounded end portion or with an end portion covered with a polarizing plate. A lower substrate(103) has a rounded end portion and includes a plurality of pixel regions. A first polarizing plate(105) is attached to a lower surface of the lower substrate. An upper substrate(101) is attached to an upper surface of the lower substrate. A second polarizing plate(107) is attached to an upper surface of the upper substrate. The upper substrate has a rounded end portion. A section of the rounded end portion has a semicircular or arc shape. The first polarizing plate reaches the end portion of the lower substrate.
