A liquid crystal display panel and a method for fabricating the same are provided to prevent an uncured sealant from flowing into an active area by forming a resin trap including an acryl polymer where amino group is introduced between the active area and a sealant area. A sealant(270) is formed in a non-display area corresponding to a black matrix outside an active area(A) in any one of a first substrate and a second substrate. A resin trap(280) is formed between the sealant and the active area on one of the first substrate and the second substrate in order to prevent an uncured sealant from flowing out. The resin trap includes an acryl polymer where amino group is introduced.
