A slide type mobile terminal is provided to improve speech quality by enabling a transmitter of a main body and a receiver of a slider to come close to the user's mouth and ear and to secure a communication angle. A main body(100) includes coupling holes(110) at both sides thereof. A slider(200) includes guide rails(210) at both sides thereof and is combined with a front surface of the main body(100) such that it can be slidably moved in a direction parallel to the front surface of the main body(100) and makes a pop-up operation at a certain angle. A pop-up hinge(300) is coupled with the rail guides(210) and the coupling holes(110) and rotates the slider(200) with respect to the main body(100).
