INFRARED SHIELDING FILM-COATED GLASS PLATE AND PROCESS FOR ITS PRODUCTION

An infrared shielding film-coated glass plate is provided to have high visible ray transmission, low infrared ray transmission and high electric wave transmission and to be applicable in part needing high mechanical and chemical durability. An infrared shielding film-coated glass plate including an infrared shielding film(20) comprises ITO microparticles having an average particle size of 100 nm dispersed in a matrix containing silicon oxide and titanium oxide on the surface of a glass plate(10). The rate of the ITO microparticles to the matrix in the infrared shielding film is 20:80 to 50:50. The rate of silicon oxide to titanium oxide in the infrared shielding film is 45:55 to 85:15. The visible ray transmission rate is 70% or more according to JIS-R3212(1998).
