A method for displaying the shortest path passing a plurality of destinations and a mobile terminal performing the same are provided to enable a user to easily drive to the destinations while moving with a companion by providing addresses included in a selected search range among the stored addresses, making the user select the address, and including the selected address to the path. The phonebook(410) stores address information of entries of a phonebook. A user input part(420) receives the destination and the search range on the path to the destination from the user. An entry searcher(430) searches the entry corresponding to the search range from the phonebook. An entry selector(440) provides a searched entry list and receives the entry selected from the user. A display part(450) displays the shortest path/time to the destination passing the address of the entry by analyzing the address of the selected entry from the phonebook. A path discriminator(460) discriminates the paths passing the address of the entry by using a GPS(Global Positioning System) function. The display part displays the discriminated path. |
