A safety bead for a toy and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to prevent hemispheric metal balls from mismatching to each other due to pressure of synthetic resin injected into a mold by forming protruded pieces on one or both sides of the metal ball. A safety bead(100) for a toy is composed of an upper metal ball(110a) formed in the shape of a hollow hemisphere; a lower metal ball(110b) formed in the shape of a hollow hemisphere and provided with a protruded piece(111) formed along the periphery of the end of a hemisphere in a diameter corresponding to the diameter of the upper metal ball and fitted by the end of the upper metal ball; and an outer cover(120) coating the peripheries of the upper and lower metal balls and having at least three pin holes(121) extended from the coated surface to the surface of the metal ball. |
