APPARATUS FOR DRYING WET UMBRELLA

An umbrella drying device is provided to reduce the cost without using additional power and to simplify assembly work by inserting an absorbing member into a cylindrical housing and then shutting up a support plate. An umbrella drying device is composed of a housing having an opened upper end and a drain port formed at the bottom side; a support plate(20) covering the opened upper end of the housing and having an umbrella input hole(21) formed in the center; a press plate(30) separated toward the lower side of the support plate in a predetermined distance and vertically moved up and down by a lifting rod(32) installed at the bottom; a lever(40) of which a lower end is hinge-combined with a lower end of the lifting rod of the press plate, a center portion is hinge-combined to a hinge bracket(42), and the other end is exposed out of the housing; a pedal(50) connected with the lever exposed outward and pushed downward to move up the press plate; and an absorbing member(60) disposed between the support plate and the press plate and provided with an umbrella contact hole(61) formed in the center.
