An aquarium with a function of air cleaning and water purification is provided to maintain the clean water therein by collecting turbid water from the water tank and purifying it by means of the biodegradation of microorganisms and the physical adsorption, then supplying it to the water tank again, and to clean the indoor air by sucking the air and washing it by means of the purified water, then supplying it to the room again. An aquarium comprises: a water tank(2), storing a proper amount of water and containing fishes, as well as having a draining pump(20) within; a purifying part(4), which is arranged over the water tank(2), and which has many filter members(45), over which an injection pipe(22) connected to the draining pump(20) is arranged, and a ventilator(46) for sucking an outer air, as well as an air exhausting hole(47); a settling zone(6), arranged between the water tank(2) and the purifying part(4), and having a water pipe(65) connected to the purifying part(4), and a water supply pipe(66) connected to the water tank(2); wherein the purifying part(4) is segmented into many chambers(41,44). |
