A drum washing machine is provided to stably couple a flange shaft to a drum by forming a fixing protrusion and a receiving groove on the flange shaft and the drum respectively. A drum washing machine includes a drum, a lifter(12a), a shaft system(50), a motor, a flange shaft, a drum rotary shaft(57), a fixing protrusion(55), and a receiving groove(16). The drum consists of a drum body(13), a front drum(14), and a back drum(15). The front drum is formed for receiving laundry inside of the drum body. The back drum is installed on a rear part of the drum body. The lifter is mounted on an inner circumference of the drum body and moves the laundry up and down with water during a rotation of the drum body. The shaft system and the motor are mounted on the back drum to rotate the drum body. The flange shaft is coupled to the drum rotary shaft, has a plurality of wings(53), and is mounted inside an edge of the back drum. The wings are elongated outward from a center of the flange shaft. The fixing protrusion is formed on an end of the wings and is coupled to the receiving groove. The receiving groove is formed on an edge of the back drum. |
