HYDROPHOBIN GENE FROM USEFUL TRADITIONAL MUSHROOM INCLUDING PHELLINUS LINTEUS, PHELLINUS BAUMII AND OTHER APPLICATION CONTAINING THE SAME

摘要

Cloning of a hydrophobin gene from Phellinus linteus, which does not belong to Agaricus campestris, but belong to Aphyllophorales is provided to find out the function and applicability of the hydrophobin involving with permeation into a plant, formation of infected structure, formation of Basidiomycetes shape, and mechanism of fruiting body generation. The nucleotide sequence of hydrophobin gene isolated from filamentous fungi such as Phellinus linteus is respectively described at Fig. 1a. The hydrophobin is used as a material of foods, liquors, clothing and cosmetic industries. The hydrophobin gene is analyzed by making cDNA library from total RNA of Phellinus linteus having various physiologically active materials and cloning the hydrophobin gene.
