An automatic closing type hinge is provided to distinguish a right side opening indication and a left side opening indication simply after assembling and to cut down on manufacturing expenses by reducing the number of components. The automatic closing type hinge includes a support seat(3) placed on the lower part of a fixed wing plate(2) fixed to a fixed frame(1), a vertical cam bearing hole(4) formed on the support seat, a noncircular aperture(5) formed on the bottom of the vertical cam bearing hole, a through hole(6) formed on the bottom of the noncircular aperture and opened to the bottom of the support seat, a vertical pivot shaft placed on the lower part of a movable wing plate(8) fixed to a door(7), a driven cam incline formed on the bottom of the vertical pivot shaft, a vertical shaft bearing hole formed on a fixed cam inserted to the vertical cam bearing hole of the fixed wing plate to insert the vertical pivot shaft of the movable wing plate rotatively, a noncircular column formed on the lower part of the fixed cam to put in or out from the noncircular hole of the fixed wing plate with 180 degree phase shift on a horizontal plane, a driving cam incline formed on the bottom of the vertical shaft bearing hole to come in contact with the driven cam incline, an indicating projection(15) formed on the bottom of the noncircular column and fitted to the through hole of the fixed wing plate, a unidirectional arrow(16) formed on the bottom of the indicating projection, and a right side opening indication(25) and a left side opening indication(26) formed on the bottom of the support seat.
