PORTABLE DISPLAY DEVICE

A portable display device is provided to achieve slimness of the portable display device, reduce a raw cost and simplify a structure thereof by coating an integrated circuit mounted on a display panel with a light blocking agent without using a light blocking tape. Display panels(4,30) display an image. Integrated circuits(6,34) are mounted to the display panels and supply a data signal and a scan signal. One or more printed circuit boards(24,26,32) control the display panels. A light blocking agent coating layer(80) is formed by coating the integrated circuit with a light blocking agent in order to prevent the integrated circuit from being exposed to a ultraviolet light. The light blocking agent coating layer is formed of a mixed liquid of a resin and any one selected from the group consisting of graphite and carbon black.
