REACTOR OR HEAT EXCHANGER WITH IMPROVED HEAT TRANSFER PERFORMANCE

A multi-pipe reactor or a heat exchanger is provided to improve total heat exchange performance for the heat exchanger, and to inhibit generation of hot spot and improve yield of a generation object by making all tubes have a heat transfer coefficient of higher than a predetermined value. A multi-pipe reactor or a heat exchanger comprises a first tube and a second tube(4). A first object heat-exchanging with a heat medium(6) passes through the inside of the first tube located on a region having flow of the heat medium(parallel flow) parallel to a tube axis. The first object does not pass through the inside of the second tube installed so as to be parallel to the tube axis in the region. The second tube includes more than two passages(10) for the heat medium flowing in and out.
