A liquid crystal display panel and a two-way LCD(Liquid Crystal Display) are provided to increase light transmittance and improve an entire optical characteristic of an LCD by using a transmissive polarization plate in a main screen area, and also using a reflective polarization plate in a sub-screen area. A first display area and a second display area are defined in A thin film transistor substrate(110) and a color filter substrate(120). A first polarization plate(500a) is provided at one side of the color filter substrate and also is provided in the first display area. A second polarization plate(500b) is provided in the second display area. The first polarization plate is a transmissive type. The second polarization plate is a reflective type. The color filter substrate is a transmissive type. The second display area is a sub-screen display area. |
