<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a screen display control device, capable of displaying a setting/adjusting screen for a menu item related to a current operation. <P>SOLUTION: The screen display control device comprises a memory 3 storing tree information 3c in which a plurality of menu items are ranked in a plurality of layers according to a hierarchical relation, and setting/adjusting screen information 3b and relevancy data 3d related to each low-order menu item, and a control part 2 for reading setting/adjusting screen information related to a low-order menu item designated by an operation part 1 from the memory 3 and displaying it in a display part 4.
