<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a golf ball which achieves a higher visual recognizability of a mark as a measure of the direction of hitting a golf ball in the hitting of the ball by a player along with a beautiful appearance by enabling the checking of the golf ball from above and sideways when placed. <P>SOLUTION: The golf ball is provided with at least two marks at an interval of 90°with the same shape on a big circle on its surface. The mark is preferably larger than a circle with a diameter of 7 mm and the length of the shortest part is less than 10 mm.
