PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for production of paper sheet that can cleanly be teared in the cross direction even when the cutting blade is round or in no need of cutting blade. SOLUTION: In the method for production of paper sheet, paper stuff slurry is supplied on the peripheral surface of the cylinder net 2 that is rotary-driven around the central axis, the paper stuff is allowed to move as the rotation of the cylinder net and the moisture is allowed to discharged into inside the cylinder net to hasten the dehydration. Then the paper slurry layer formed by the dehydration is passed through the wire part for transferring the paper stuff into felt to form paper sheet. In this process, the cylinder net 2 is sucked from the inside of the cylinder net at the moving step of the paper stuff slurry while on the transferring position to the felt 6, the natural dehydration is carried out but not sucking.
