<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an article position-detecting system in a manufacturing factory for quickly retrieving positions of intermediate products scattered in a manufacturing factory. <P>SOLUTION: Each carrier C, on which articles are loaded, is provided with a listing sheet 5 on which the loaded articles are displayed, and the listing sheet 5 is provided with a tag 1 which stores list data on the loaded articles and transmits the list data by means of radio wave. A communication device 2 is fixed to a prescribed position in a room, and device coordinates P are given, and positional coordinates Q of an article (A) to be retrieved are computed with a computation means 3 based on the device coordinates P, a rotation horizontal angleϕand a reference distance d, wherein the rotation horizontal angleϕis a phase of a rotational angle sensor 23 to a reference axis and the reference distance d is a straight distance between the communication device 2 and the surface of a floor.
