PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable an operator of an ultrasonic probe to check an ultrasonogram easily. SOLUTION: The ultrasonic probe wirelessly transmits echo data acquired by a transducer 102 to a main body of an ultrasonograph from a transmitting antenna 126. The main body of the ultrasonograph forms the ultrasonogram based on the echo data wirelessly transmitted from the ultrasonic probe and wirelessly transmits the image signals of the formed ultrasonogram. Then, the ultrasonic probe receives the image signals wirelessly transmitted from the main body of the ultrasonograph by a receiving antenna 130, forms the ultrasonogram from the received image signals, and displays the ultrasonogram on a monitor 138.
