PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a security system that predicts where and when children on their way home from school will be alone and notifies it in advance to guardians or school officials to prompt them to meet the children at the corresponding points and times. SOLUTION: A cellular telephone 30A carried by a child A acquires position information about the child A from GPS (Global Positioning System) satellites, and substantially at the same time, a ZigBee (R) cell 40A acquires identification information, that is, MAC (Media Access Control) addresses, about ZigBee cell terminals 40B and 40C carried by children B and C present within some visible range. The acquired position information and MAC addresses are emailed to a remote monitoring server 60. According to the received position information and MAC addresses and to school route information represented by a tree structure corresponding to the MAC addresses, the monitoring server 60 predicts where and when each child will be alone, and emails it to each child's guardian.
