PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information retrieval system for providing various retrieval methods, and for standardizing files. SOLUTION: The information retrieval system is provided with: a static retrieval system part 23 in which a narrowing-down page group 40 for narrowing down hotels under predetermined narrowing-down conditions and a list page group 41 for displaying the list of hotels classified for every narrowing-down condition are stored for performing the narrowing-down retrieval of the hotels from the predetermined narrowing-down conditions; and a dynamic retrieval system part 24 for performing condition extraction from a database server 4 under the predetermined retrieval conditions, and for generating and outputting a room list page 37 concerning rooms relevant to the hotel retrieved by the static retrieval system part 23. A hotel detail page 38 displayed by a link set in the list page group 41 in the static retrieval system part 23 is displayed by a link set in the room list page 37 generated by the dynamic retrieval system part 24.
