PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an engine equipped with a simple mechanism for preventing or restricting the generation of moisture in the air supplied from an air pump, as well as a car equipped with this mechanism. SOLUTION: A fuel injector 1 for injecting a fuel and air mixed gas into a combustion chamber 17 is installed on a head cover 11. This fuel injector 1 is provided with a fuel injector holder 5, which is installed on the head cover 11 with a plurality of bolts. An air pump 12 for supplying air to the fuel injector 1 is combined with the head cover 11 into a single unit. The air pump 12 has a head 12a, which is connected with the fuel injector 1.
