PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sloshing suppressing device which suppresses the occurrence of sloshing, and at the same time, makes a floating roof function by lowering the floating roof to a low liquid surface level while floating the floating roof on the liquid surface when the liquid is taken out. SOLUTION: This sloshing suppressing device includes a plate member 20, and a connecting member 30. In this case, the plate member 20 is provided with a first hole at the central section, and a plurality of second holes having a smaller diameter compared with the first hole from the central part to the edge part. The connecting member 30 includes a bendable bonding section 31, and is used for suspending/supporting the plate member 20 to the floating roof 12. The connecting member 30 may be constituted to include two rod-form members and three pin bonding sections. Then, one rod-form member and the floating roof 12, another rod-form member and the plate member 20, and two rod-form members are respectively bonded to each other with pins, and the connecting member 30 is made bendable.
