PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a passenger protecting device for vehicle which can protect passengers from the coolant when a coolant is leaked into the cabin. SOLUTION: This passenger protecting device for vehicle is equipped with a sensing means 2, and air jetting means 4 and 5. In this case, the sensing means 2 senses the leakage into the cabin of the coolant of an air-conditioner, or the possibility of the leakage into the cabin. The air jetting means 4 and 5 jet air to the vicinity of the head sections of passengers when the leakage into the cabin of the coolant or the possibility of the leakage into the cabin is sensed by the sensing means 2. By the passenger protecting device for vehicle, when the coolant of the air-conditioner has leaked into the cabin or when there is a possibility of the leakage, air is jetted to the head sections of the passengers by the air jetting means 4 and 5.
