PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance transmission quality of signals wirelessly transmitted from an ultrasonic probe to a main body of an ultrasonograph. SOLUTION: A main body 100 of the probe acquires echo data by transmitting and receiving ultrasound to and from a subject. A wireless transmission part 120 is placed by separating from the main body 100, and wirelessly transmits the echo data acquired by the main body 100 to the main body 200 of the ultrasonograph. Since the wireless transmission part 120 is provided to be separated from the main body 100, the wireless transmission part 120 is placed toward the direction of a receiving antenna 202 of the main body 200 when the main body 100 is used at various positions and in the various directions depending on diagnostic regions. Consequently, the transmission quality of the signals wirelessly transmitted from the ultrasonic probe to the main body 200 is enhanced. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
