<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress torque shock occurring when a gear ratio of a transmission is changed when a driving circuit of an electric motor is changed to a vehicle state of operation stoppage during traveling. <P>SOLUTION: When gear change of the transmission is carried out when a shift lever is in a neutral position, shutdown of a shut-down inverter is released (S140), and following rotational synchronization of the motor MG2 (S170-S190), changing of gear-change stages of the transmission is carried out.
