BIO-DIESEL FUEL ENGINE SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR OPERATING BIO-DIESEL FUEL ENGINE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bio-diesel fuel engine system and a method for operating the bio-diesel fuel engine capable of producing biomass fuel for an existing diesel engine from a liquid biomass resource containing an oil and fat content originated from an plant and an animal without reforming a process by a methyl ester method, and capable of operating stably and reliably at low fuel consumption.

SOLUTION: The liquid biomass resource containing the oil and fat content originated from a plant and an animal is used as a fuel stock solution. A detergent is added to the fuel stock solution to atomize the same to a particle diameter of 10μm or smaller by an atomization device 1, and biomass fuel is produced. The biomass fuel is supplied to a fuel injection device 51 via the biomass fuel supply system 50. The biomass fuel is sprayed in an engine cylinder 52 by the fuel injection device to operate a diesel engine 53.
