COUNTER ELECTRODE FOR PHOTOELECTRIC CELL PROVIDED WITH CARRYING CATALYST

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a counter electrode for a photoelectric cell which is economical in manufacturing cost and in a manufacturing process, and has a high catalyst activity which is improved by an increased contact area with an electrolyte layer and provide a dye-sensitive type photoelectric cell provided with the above electrode.

SOLUTION: The counter electrode for a photoelectric cell is composed of a transparent base plate and a catalyst layer which is formed by using carrying catalyst on the above transparent base plate.
