PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make an inkjet head having an orifice plate including an ink-repellent layer formed on its surface and to make a simple inkjet head by not forming an ink-repellent layer in a nozzle. SOLUTION: In order to carry out forming of a water-repellent film only on the surface of the orifice plate, a film of a metal having a low melting point (the melting point is roughly not higher than 250°C) is formed on the rear side (including the inner side of the nozzle) of the orifice plate, and then coating of the water-repellent film is carried out. After carrying out the coating of the water-repellent film, a baking process for baking the water-repellent film and for removing the metal with the low melting point by melting it, is carried out.
