PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bathing agent hardly providing sticky feeling, providing moist feeling, and having high moisture-keeping effects. SOLUTION: The bathing agent contains a component (A) represented by general formula (2) (wherein, R<SP>1</SP>is a 2-20C acyl group; R<SP>2</SP>is hydrogen or a lower alkyl group which may be substituted; Y is a carboxy group, a sulfonic acid group or the like; A is a binding site derived from a functional group of a spacer comprising a carbon chain having≤1,000,000 molecular weight; and j and k are each 0-2 and both are not simultaneously 0).
