<p>An optical pickup device (1) is provided with a semiconductor laser element (2), i.e., a light emitting means, which emits two types of laser beams having different wavelengths; a coupling lens (3) for converting the divergence angle of the emitted laser beams and suppressing divergence of the laser beams; an aberration correcting element (4) for correcting astigmatism generated due to passing of a second laser beam emitted from a second light emitting point (22) arranged outside the optical axis of the coupling lens (3); a collimator lens (5) for converting the laser beam passed through the coupling lens (3) and the aberration correcting element (4) into parallel beams; and an objective lens (6) for colleting the parallel beams on the information recording plane of a disc (7).</p> |
