A method for manufacturing an organic light emitting diode display device is provided to minimize gas to permeate into a border between an upper electrode layer and a first protection film by forming a second blocking film at an outer part of the organic light emitting diode. A method for manufacturing an organic light emitting diode display device includes the steps of: forming a lower electrode layer(120) of a stripe pattern which is extended along a direction on a substrate(110); forming an insulation film(130) to define a pixel region on the lower electrode(120) by exposing a part region of the lower electrode layer(120); forming a separator(140) of an inverse tape shape on the insulation film(130) along a direction which is perpendicular to the lower electrode layer(120); forming a first blocking film(160) on a side plane of the insulation film(130) and the separator(140) to block emission of gas generated from the insulation film(130) and the separator(140); forming an organic light emitting layer(170) on the lower electrode layer(120) which is exposed on the pixel region; forming an upper electrode layer(180) on the organic light emitting layer(170) along the same direction as the separator(140); and forming a second blocking film(190) which blocks the inflow of gas from the outside, and is formed on a front plane of the substrate(110) with the upper electrode layer(180). |
