<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel injection device provided with a pressure accumulator to improve precision in amount of injection by bringing the amount of injection close to the target amount of injection irrespective of viscosity of fuel because an injection rate is reduced when using, for example, a fuel having high viscosity and actual amount of injection becomes smaller than target amount of injection. <P>SOLUTION: Since the fuel having higher viscosity reduces the amount of injection or amount of leakage, leading to reduced amount of pressure drop in the pressure accumulator 1, target injection time is compensated so as to prolong the target injection time as the amount of pressure drop in the pressure accumulator 1 becomes smaller. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
