<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ventilation register capable of preventing a body from being directly exposed to outside air, easily adjusting an opening area without demounting components, easily recovering an opening position, preventing intrusion of cold air by being completely closed, achieving a large opening area by being completely opened, and preventing contamination of a wall. <P>SOLUTION: This ventilation register comprises a register main body 12 mounted on a through hole of a wall surface to which the outside air is introduced, a register cap 14 having a dimension to close the opening, and a connection opening and closing device 16 for bringing the register cap to be closely kept into contact with the register main body or separated therefrom. The connection opening and closing device 16 is composed of a cylindrical screw shaft 17 fixed to the register cap at its one end, and a hollow cylindrical bearing member 18 fixed to the register main body. The screw shaft 17 has a spiral groove 18a on its circumference, and the bearing member 18 has a spherical body 19 fitted to the spiral groove, and an energizing means 20 for energizing the spherical body to the spiral groove. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
