PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cellular phone in which unpleasant feeling given to a telephone caller is suppressed. SOLUTION: A radio communication part 10 receives a tone signal. A tone type determining means 20 detects the tone signal received by the radio communication part 10 to determine the type of the tone signal. An amplifier 16 or an amplifier part 18 performs turning on/off of an output according to the instruction of an amplifier control part 21, amplifies and outputs the tone signal received by the radio communication part 10. A rear speaker part 17 rings when receiving the output signal of the amplifier part 16. A receiver/earphone speaker part 19 rings when receiving the output signal of the amplifier part 18. The amplifier control part 21 detects the silent part of the tone signal received by the radio communication part 10, receives the type of the tone signal determined by the tone type determining means 20, determines whether or not the tone signal is an object for control on the basis of the type and when the tone signal is the object for control, instructs output-off to the amplifier 16 or the amplifier 18.
