PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the front side of a rear single plate from being pinched between a sticking table and a movable table, even if the front side of the rear single plate is in a sagging state. SOLUTION: A single plate connection apparatus 1 is provided with an end sensor 29 for detecting the positions of a front end 3AR of a single plate 3A of the front side, and a front end 3BF of a subsequent single plate 3B of the rear side on the rear side of a tape sticking region 7; a single plate fixing and carrying device 15 for carrying the single plate 3A to the rear side; and the movable table 37 for moving the single plate 3B to the front. A single plate lifting member 31 for lifting up the sagging portion of the front end 3BF of the subsequent single plate 3B of the rear side to a tape sticking height position of the tape sticking region 7 is further provided so as to be freely lifted up and down, between the tape sticking region 7 and the movable table 37. Accordingly, since the subsequent single plate 3B on the rear side is lifted up to the tape sticking height when it moves forward by the single plate lifting member 31, it can be prevented from being pinched between the tape sticking region 7 and the movable table 37.
