PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wheelchair capable of improving the certainty of a stop state. SOLUTION: The wheelchair 2 has a body frame 4, a front wheel 30 and a rear wheel 32. The wheelchair 2 is provided with bending members 48 and 50 whose bending angle is variable. The wheelchair 2 is provided with leg parts 34 and 36 to be vertically moved in linkage with the change of the vertical direction length of the bending members 48 and 50, a vertically movable lever member 54 turnably connected to the bending member 48 and extended to the rear part of the body frame 4, and a connecting member 52 turnably connecting the body frame 4 and the lever member 54 and capable of moving the lever member 54 in front and back directions accompanying the vertical movement of the lever member 54. The wheelchair 2 has a linking mechanism 46 for attaining a front and rear wheel grounded state wherein the leg parts 34 and 36 are floated to allow the grounding of the front wheel 30 and the rear wheel 32 and a wheel floated state wherein the leg parts 34 and 36 are grounded to float the front wheel 30 or the rear wheel 32 by the vertical movement of the lever member 54.
