<p>A thread roll for textile machines, comprises a deep drawn sleeve (5) which is connected to two miniature ball bearings by a foam material (3). The bearings are located on a single axis with an adapter. The top of the unit has a groove (4). The foam is hardened after moulding, and consists of two different materials. The sleeve has a thin chromium layer which protects it against wear and corrosion. The inner foam material can be deformed so the bearing and the axis can be located onto the grooves.</p> |
