PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a transfer rate by reducing a pickup in weight to access a recording medium at high speed and miniaturize a driving means.

SOLUTION: An optical information recording device has; a light source 3; a spatial light modulator 9 which generates information light by making light from a light source carry information; a reference beam generation means to generate reference light from light from the light source; an objective lens 23 which irradiates the recording medium with information light and reference light; first and second relay lenses 13 and 19 which are arranged between the spatial light modulator and the objective lens; a pair of reflectors 15 and 17 having respective reflecting surfaces orthogonal each other and being arranged between a pair of relay lenses; a deflection means 21 which turns the direction of optical axis and is arranged between a pair of relay lenses and the objective lens; a first movement section 2a with the objective lens and the deflection means arranged therein; a second movement section 2b with the second relay lens 19 arranged therein; and a third movement section 2c with a pair of reflectors arranged therein.
