<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily set an appropriate sales price for each image. <P>SOLUTION: When image data is uploaded from an image provider to an order receiving server, the image data is analyzed, and an image sharpness, the number of persons in an image, and an elapsed time from photographing are calculated. Photographing mistake such as camera shake or blurring is determined from the image sharpness. The evaluation of the image is high when it is free from photographing mistake, and low when it contains photographing mistake. The larger the number of persons in the image is, the higher the evaluation of the image is, while the smaller the number of persons in the image, the lower the evaluation of the image. When the elapsed time from photographing is within a predetermined time, the evaluation of the image is enhanced, and when it exceeds the predetermined time, the evaluation of the image is reduced.
