<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system and method suited for reporting the integrity of a wireless communication link within medical facilities. <P>SOLUTION: The system and method is disclosed for performing at least one of an alarm or an alert escalation process within a medical environment. In detail, this system for reporting the integrity of the wireless communication link 128 within the medical facilities is provided with: a wireless remote device within the medical facilities having a message indicator responding to state information transmitted in the wireless communication link, wherein the state information indicates signals generated by an apparatus for medication treatment applications; and software having a time-out output and installed in the wireless remote device, wherein the time-out output indicates a loss of the wireless communication link. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
