<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image output system capable of limiting an operation in accordance with a user, an image output device and a storage device. <P>SOLUTION: After completing mutual authentication with an IC card and user authentication, a digital composite machine transmits attribute information to the IC card in response to a request from the IC card (S63). When the IC card receives the attribute information, the IC card generates panel data for operating screen display, on the basis of the attribute information and user information (S65) and transmits panel data to the digital composite machine (S66).
