PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel injection system having a soil-resistant surface layer which is excellent in lubricity incident to the injection of fuel, which controls the adhesion of a combustion residue, and which easily peels the adhesion even in the case of adhesion of the combustion residue. SOLUTION: A fluorine compound layer 30 is formed on the surface of the fuel injection system such as a needle valve 21.
