PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent lowering of a discharged air capturing ratio caused by disturbance of the air in a vent hood in a ventilation system for supplying and discharging the air in a kitchen. SOLUTION: A cooking appliance 20 is provided with supply openings 15 at both sides of a gas cooking stove 25. The supplied air from the supply openings 15 is partially sucked into the vent hood 17, and the remaining flows upward at a circumferential outer side of the vent hood 17.
