PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a planar antenna system with a greater antenna directivity gain for achieving broadbanding while reducing the occupied area. SOLUTION: A rectangular notch 106 is formed in a conductor ground plate 101 and a conductor piece 105 whose cross section has a nearly U-shape is connected to the notch. The notch 106 and the conductor piece 105 are located at a position apart by a prescribed offset P from a center position of the conductor ground plate 101, a feeding port 104 to a radiation conductor 102 is arranged to nearly a center position of a plane of the conductor piece 105 nearly in parallel with the radiation conductor 102, and a distance between the feeding port 104 of the conductor piece 105 and the radiation conductor is shorter than a distance between the conductor ground plate 101 and the radiation conductor.
